These experiments require stability on the nanometer scale, a vector magnetic field for the preparation of the quantum state and temperatures below 2K to freeze out decoherence processes. According to the European Parliament and Council Directive Nº 2014/24/ EC, Article 32. 2, point b, the University of Copenhagen believes that only Cryomagnetics can meet the requirements for the announced purchase for spin manipulation in our quantum dots systems, cryostats with several magnetic axis are required. This flexibility in the orientation of the magnetic field allows flexibility in the possible regime of operation of the quantum dots. Moreover, fields of several Teslas are usually required to achieve good operations. Additionally, a sampled cooled to low temperatures, and in particular below 2K, helps to get high coherence of the system for efficient quantum information protocols. Finally, in order to increase the complexity of experiments, it is convenient to beneficiate from a large space to implement more complex optical apparatus, as well as easier access to the cold sample.
