Seivika, Tømmervåg and Edøy Ferry Quays

The 2 ferry routes from Kristiansund to Smøla are to be upgraded with new environmentally friendly electric ferries. The Sandvika/Edøy route needs a new mooring quay/reserve quay in addition, this has been announced in a separate contract and will be completed approx. 1 year before the rest of the route has been upgraded. The work in Seivika, Tømmervåg and Edøy consists of expanding the width and length of piers, complete with new fenders. The existing quay installations are to be demolished. A phase plan has been prepared for the demolition work. The tenderer will be free to carry out the work in an alternative way. The new quays must be adapted for charging and mooring equipment. All the work must be carried out whilst the current ferries operate a normal service.
