A road map has been prepared for the further implementation of the infrastructure transformation for UiT. This includes measures within technology, performance management, employees and processes. UKE would like to join up with an independent collaboration partner within research, analysis and consultancy services in order to ensure strategic well-thought out choices and design good systems. The tenderer shall provide consultancy services and quality assurance on deliveries. Gartner is seen as the only supplier who can fulfil all the criteria for the service delivery. It is a prerequisite that it is a total procurement, in order to ensure consistent use of analyses, methodology and best practice and that the tenderer can advise UiT in strategic choices when using the same material within, for example, IT architecture, sourcing, IT security and technical systems. Only by entering into a contract with Garnter, can UiT gain access to Gartner's unique knowledge database where information is collected from analysts in over 25 countries. The Contract is for subscription based research and related services from Gartner Group, including: — monitoring the technology markets by i.a. ranking providers in a given market, assessment of the providers' own development based on proven methodologies, — monitoring of technology with analyses, — monitoring markets with market shares, providing prognosis and market trends, — a broad selection of trade conferences, seminars and symposia.
