The development of a satisfactory broadband is a condition for increased quality and development, also for the health and children and youth' sector. A well-functioning broadband is required in order to reach the goal for making the municipality's services digitally available,
The current broadband is poorly developed and many of the areas are of no interest for commercial development for developers. Many areas are not covered by broadband and some locations have poor mobile coverage. The municipality therefore wishes to facilitate for an efficient and modern infrastructure, including broadband for the entire municipality. The municipality expects that municipal investments in broadband will create synergy effects for the community.
