The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) is currently in the planning stage regarding procurement of single purpose military dogs and is therefore looking for information about this market. As part of a market survey DALO would like to invite contractors to a technical dialogue. DALO has therefore prepared a Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire where potential suppliers are asked to give their opinion on commercial and technical matters. It should be stressed that this notice is not a call for tenders and participation in the dialogue will not be required for participation in a potential later tender procedure.
By a single purpose military dog, DALO understands an attack dog which is trained to bite on command and where it is possible for the handler to stop the biting. A military attack dog should be trained, controlled and able to fit in with the rest of the team.
