Contract K203 is the second major ground contract for the project New National Museum at the Vestbane site in Oslo.
Contract K203 consists of the following:
— Installation of steel core piles mainly from rock and a concrete work platform lying on uncompacted matter.
— Installation of uplift anchorage (rod stays and lace stays).
— Excavation of minor pits outside the construction pit for the installation of steel core piles.
— Excavation of minor pits within the construction pit for the installation of pile heads.
— Casting point foundations and pillars as anchorage for the lace stays.
