Birkenes municipality will build a new treatment plant at Birkeland. The plant will be designed for 6000 pe and will be built on the same site as the existing plant.
Birkenes municipality hereby informs the market that a tender contest for the execution contract E21 - Construction and groundwork is expected to be announced by the beginning of July 2023. It is expected that the contest will be organised as a contest with negotiations in accordance with Part II of the Utilities Regulations. This means that the contest will start with a qualification phase (phase 1) where 3-5 qualified tenderers will be invited to the tendering phase (phase 2).
