Avalanche Detectors (LGAD) sensors (hereafter referred to as “sensors” or the “Supply”). These are silicon sensors with a gain layer close to the p-n junction that significantly improves the timing performance of the sensors. As stated above, CERN reserves the right to split the contract among at least two contractors.
