The contracting authority annually receives approximately 2 200 tonnes of impregnated wood per annum, which is classified as hazardous waste. The contracting authority would like tenders for the transport and disposal of this type of wood, in accordance with the requirements described in Annex 1 ‘Requirement Specifications’. The procurement also includes creosote impregnated wood. The contracting authority currently receives impregnated wood at ROAF environment park (Skedsmo) and Aurskog-Høland recycling station. We reserve the right to change the location of the receiving sites during the contract period. ROAF (the Contracting Authority) will request that the tenderer has systems in place so that the services offered have the least possible negative impact on the external environment and that the laws and regulations on wages and working conditions are adhered to. The contracting authority needs proper transport and disposal of impregnated wood from the recycling facilities in Aurskog and Skedsmo to certified final treatment. The wood is crushed, but not milled at the recycling facilities.
