Kolumbus announces, via this competition, a competition for the disassembly and assembly of ticket machines and real time equipment in scheduled buses. The assignment shall be carried out in the period from approx. June 2016 — approx. the end of August 2016.
On 1.7.2016 new operators shall take over responsibility for public transport by bus in South Rogaland and it is in this connection that Kolumbus needs to procure the service of removing ticket machines and real time equipment, hereafter called the equipment, from the buses that are currently in use and then assemble the equipment in buses provided by the new operators.
It is an absolute requirement that the disassembly of the equipment in the current buses is carried out before 14.7.2016. After this date Kolumbus will not have the right to use the buses in accordance with the contract with the current operator. Tenderers must set aside sufficient resources to keep the above mentioned deadline. The assignment is for approx. 328 buses, which shall be taken out of traffic and approx. 291 new buses, which shall be used from 1.7.2016.
The price shall be given under the tab sheet ‘Evaluation — products’, this shall be the total costs per bus. To the degree that the disassembly and assembly of the equipment must be carried out at other locations than those stated in the Requirement Specifications point 3, travel costs will be covered in accordance with the Government's rates from the nearest agreed location to the new location.
