DONG Energy schedules a new up-to-date hardware solution for the existing PCs for all (app. 6 500) employees. The replacements may be desktops, workstations, laptops, tablets, hybrids, etc., and docking stations, power supply and some accessories such as USB-sticks, and security filters may be replaced as well.
At the same time DONG Energy will introduce an upgrade to Windows 8.1 and Office 365 Pro Plus.
DONG Energy is expecting a smooth replacement (including decommissioning ) of existing PC set up to new PC set up with a minimum of inconvenience for the user, minimum breakdowns and down time.
The Roll-out of new PCs on all DONG Energy locations is scheduled to Q1-Q2, 2015.
