COAT (Climate-Ecological Observation system for Arctic Tundra) is a large research project in Arctic Norway. The project partners are UiT – Norges Arktiske Universitet, Norsk institutt for naturforskning, Norsk Polarinstitutt, Meteorologisk Institutt and UNIS [the Arctic University of Norway, the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, the Norwegian Polar Institute, the Meteorological Institute and the University Centre in Svalbard]. COAT is working with the impact of climate change on the tundra food web (
www.coat.no).
In connection with COAT, camera will be purchased to be used for camera-based monitoring of rodents. These will be placed out in the field.
