A sudden requirement for a new crew vehicle for Kvam firefighting and rescuing service (KVBR) has occurred and the municipality has surveyed the market for vehicles that are in accordance with requirements and specifications and that can be delivered in a short time The survey revealed that one relevant vehicle can be delivered immediately and this vehicle complies with the requests and requirements made by KVBR. Rosendahl AS offers an operative crew vehicle that has been used as a demo-vehicle for the company. The vehicle can be delivered, approved and be in operation by February 2018. There were no other suppliers who were able to deliver an approved vehicle in accordance with the municipality's requirement by the first quarter of 2018. The conditions for procuring an approved vehicle crew, without a prior tender contest are considered fulfilled. Cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 (b) no. 2.
