As a part of the goal to achieve complete broadband coverage in Sør-Trøndelag in 2017, development and upgrading of broadband shall be done in eight municipalities.
There are a total of 15 areas that shall be developed The project is a co-operation between Sør-Trøndelag counties and the involved municipalities. The delivery shall include:
— A new and upgraded broadband system with a minimum of 30 Mbps downstream
— The establishment of broadband accesses to businesses and private houses.
— Provide internet access and other broadband services
The minimum requirements and contract award criteria are given in the tender documentation with annexes. The documentation will be available when the tender contest is published.
The number of accesses is estimated to 1 200, 60 businesses and 1 000 holiday cottages.
Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for one area in one municipality.
