Aarhus University (The Contracting Authority) will be investing in one (1) Benchtop Flow Cytometer and Cell Sorter to be housed at the Department of Engineering, Aarhus University. The Benchtop Flow Cytometer and Cell Sorter will be used for experimental and educational purposes. The instrument will give experimental support to those groups of the Department of Engineering involved in biomedical and biotechnology research projects (Biological and Chemical Engineering Section), in activities related to phenotypic analysis of complex populations from primary samples or tissue cultured cells; as well as the isolation of different types of cell subpopulations. The instrument will be used in educational programs and theoretical and practical courses offered by the Department of Engineering.
