The E39 shall be expanded from 2 to 4 lanes for a stretch of approx. 1 400 m between Hove and Sandved in Sandnes municipality. County road 325 Jærveien shall be improved with municipal water and sewage installations, expanded from 2 to 4 lanes with the accompanying foot/cycle path for a stretch of approx. 700 m. The Hove junction shall be altered and adapted to national road 13 for a stretch of approx. 700 m including 150 m of the diagonal between Hoveveien and the E39.
Comprehensive noise reduction measures shall be carried out in the form of longitudinal noise mounds and noise reduction screens. Local noise reduction screens will be carried out in a separate contract.
The project also includes a considerable amount of walls, mainly natural stone walls.
