Bærum kommunale arbeidssentre intends to enter into a new contract with Bama, who has developed the concept Jobbfrukt (Job Fruit) for delivery of Bama’s fruit to work places in private companies and public entities nationwide (‘Job Fruit’). The job fruit concept involves a cooperation between Bama and a nationwide group of selected independent companies (‘the Job Fruit companies’). The Job Fruit companies main aim is to give work to people with different needs for assistance.
Employees with various disabilities depend on a stable work offer with predictable work assignments. Such work assignments also help to give employees the possibility to develop competencies and knowledge as there are many different work assignments within the concept Job Fruit. Such assignments can be preparing packaging, packing fruit, assessing quality, delivery of baskets to customers etc.
Bærum kommunale arbeidssentre intends to enter into a new contract with a supplier who has a concept and customer basis equivalent to Bama’s job fruit concept, in order to ensure adapted work places for adults with various disabilities. The contract will last from 1.10.2014 to 30.9.2018 with 6 months mutual notice.
The concept includes a customer basis, cardboard containers/boxes, delivery of fresh fruit, development of the label and concept, operation and maintenance of an internet site for the end customer's orders, computer system for administering deliveries, electronic profile material ready for printing, various marketing initiatives, quality assurance courses and training within the concept on a regular basis.
Bærum municipality is of the belief that there is only one supplier who can offer such a concept. The intention notice is announced pursuant to the public procurement law § 5 and the public procurement regulations § 3-1 (1).
