Asker municipality shall construct a new swimming pool at Holmen and would therefore like to hold a dialogue conference with the supplier market to update its knowledge on the market before a coming notice for Holmen Swimming Pool. The municipality needs to know about the solutions that are available and what is not available, within different trades for the construction of a new swimming pool. The swimming pool shall be cost efficient in construction and running, and the municipality encourages suppliers with the newest and best solutions. The challenges are further described in the annex and will be further highlighted at the dialogue conference.
The project Holmen Swimming Pool consists of the construction of a new swimming pool at Holmen in Asker. A 25 metre long pool shall be constructed with 8 lanes, with each lane being 2.5 m wide (25 m x 21 m), the pool shall have a base that can be raised/lowered over 3 lane widths. In addition the centre shall include a therapy pool of 12.5 x 12.5 m with a base that can be raised/lowered over the entire area. Otherwise changing rooms, canteen, gym, etc. Asker municipality's general aim is to be a leading municipality on the environment and energy and this will form the basis for further work. Emphasis will be put on energy saving measures in the project and the aim is to use environmentally friendly construction materials. The aim is that the building shall fulfil the passive sports buildings requirements in accordance with NS3701:2012 – Criteria for passive buildings and low energy buildings - Occupational Buildings.
Suppliers who would like to take part in the dialogue conference are asked to register their interest by e-mail to kenneth.olafsen@asker.kommune.no by Monday 12th May, 12:00 pm. The dialogue conference will be held 15th May at Scandic Hotel in Asker. After the dialogue conference meetings will be held with suppliers. These meetings will be held approx. 1-2 weeks after the supplier conference.
The knowledge that the supplier contribute to the municipality in the dialogue conference will be used in the preparation of the specifications for the final tender documents.
Other municipalities will also attend the dialogue conference, and will present their projects within the construction of new swimming pools and bathing facilities.
