The study under this contract focuses on part-time employment, full time equivalent employment rate, different types of contracts, self-employment and female entrepreneurship in the EU Member States and Croatia. Following the objective F1 of the critical area F of the BPfA, the aforementioned areas will be addressed from the perspective of women's economic independence. The study consists of 3 parts:
part A of the study provides a background overview of the area 'Women and the Economy', will collect and analyse data and will develop indicators to measure the aspects mentioned above;
part B of the study identifies good practices in the field of 'Women and the Economy', with specific focus to female entrepreneurship;
part C of the study reflects and collects evidence on the benefits of gender equality in entrepreneurship.
