Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is looking for a consultant to prepare, design and facilitate trainings on ethnographic methodology for 6-8 field-based researchers in Uganda and to prepare the training of a similar number of field researchers in South Sudan and Kenya.
By the end of the training, the field researchers should be familiar with intermediate level concepts of ethnography and ethnographic methodology including participant observation, writing, managing and sharing ethnographic field notes, open-ended interview techniques and reflecting on the ethnographic data, with a focus on long term cases.
