The joint procurement contract will cover the need for both prescription and non-prescription medicines, (hereafter called medicines)pharmacy-specific medicines and packing of these, and pharmaceutical services.
The tenderer must be a total supplier of medicines and must at all times be able to deliver all types of medicines found in the market for the municipalities cf. the regulation concerning pharmacy (the Pharmacy Regulation) § 26 about the pharmacy obligation to negotiate. A general goal is that the joint contract safeguard patient and information security in an efficient and justifiable manner.
