Short description
County Road 659 Nordøyvegen, is a mainland connection that will connect the Nordøyane at Sunnmøre to the mainland, via submarine tunnels and bridges. Construction of the project has begun and Skanska is the main contractor for K5 Harøya-Skjeltene. The K6 contract includes a turnkey electrical contract for electrical installations and automation installations in the project. After the contract is signed, this will be transferred to contract K5 Harøya — Skjeltene.
Three submarine tunnels, one environment tunnel, three bridges as well as sea filling and open air road.
