This enables ablation of all types of materials and very high sensitivity and signal reproducibility. The main target of the purchased laser is to ablate silicate minerals such as olivines and quartz and volcanic glass from geological rock samples to measure very low concentration elements (single ppb-levels) which requires maximum sensitivity and signal stability and in cases high laser energy. 968356.00 The procured excimer laser ablation system is one of the latest generation excimer lasers delivering high fluence up to 15 J/cm 3 , flat-top homogenized beams, ultrashort pulse lengths and an optimally designed ablation cell with inner cup gas flow for pulse-free stable signals. We require a laser with maximum energy density at the sample surface up to 15 J/cm 3 . Furthermore we wish to have the maximum amount of spot size choices (for the chosen Teledyne laser it is up to 32). The laser must feature a fully homogenized laser beam using proprietary flat-field zero order external rotating homogenizer to ensure minimal elemental fractionation. The laser must run with proven spot sizes down to 1 μm for mapping purposes. The Teledyne Photon Machines Analyte Excite 193 nm excimer laser ablation system is the only system that meet the requirements. 2018-02-01 Teledyne CETAC Technologies Omhaha 968356.00 Klagenævnet for udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 København Ø 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen Carl Jacobsens Vej 35 Valby, København 2500 +45 41715000 kfst@kfst.dk http://www.kfst.dk 2018-02-01
