Statistics Norway is an agency under the Ministry of Finance and it is divided into 9 departments. The agency is managed by the managing director Birger Vikøren.
Statistics Norway has the main responsibility for official statistics in Norway and it also carries out comprehensive research and analysis activities. Approx. 880 employees contribute to social debates and management being based on the best possible information and facts. SSB has offices in Oslo and Kongsvinger and it publishes daily statistics and analyses on ssb.no.
Statistics Norway will enter into a contract with a professional cleaning company that can carry out daily cleaning, temporary staff cleaning, periodic cleaning and internal window cleaning in SSB's premises in Akersveien 26, Oslo.
