The Contracting Authority shall enter into a framework agreement(s) to cover the health region’s need for sharps bins and hazardous waste containers.
Intended use:
The sharps bins shall be used in the various departments at the hospitals and in ambulances. The sharps bins shall be used to keep piercing/cutting waste in safe manner, and serve as transport packaging when they are full, both in the hospitals and from the hospitals, by road, to incineration/waste facilities.
The hazardous waste containers (approx. 30 and 60 litres) shall be used for various hazardous waste, i.a.: pathology, infectious waste and pharmaceutical waste. The containers shall protect users against stabbing injuries and infection, as well as perform as transport packaging when they are full, both in the hospitals and from the hospitals, by road, to incineration/waste facilities.
