The SH800s is a cell sorter based on flow cytometry utilizing a disposable microfluidics sorting chip enabling providing a user friendly interface for everyday use in the laboratory. The sorter will be used only for scientific research with main focus on single cell RNA sequencing. Using methods based on sci-RNA-seq, nuclei sorting, pre-enrichment of specific cell types for further analyzes using other systems etc. 1499904.00 The SH800s is a cell sorter based on flow cytometry utilizing a disposable microfluidics sorting chip enabling providing a user friendly interface for everyday use in the laboratory. The sorter will be used only for scientific research with main focus on single cell RNA sequencing. Using methods based on sci-RNA-seq, nuclei sorting, pre-enrichment of specific cell types for further analyzes using other systems etc. Sony SH800 Cell Sorter is using a unique sorting chip in place of a traditional flow cell + nozzle. The disposable microfluidics sorting chip provides a fresh new nozzle and flow cell every day. In a multi-user environment, this allows chip exchange in-between applications to reduce sample carryover and maintenance and ensures optimal performance every day. Key benefits of the microfluidics sorting chips include: — Fully automated sort setup that includes chip alignment to lasers and sort setup including optimization of droplet breakoff, side stream positioning and drop delay calculation. Minimal user input is required during sort setup allowing researchers to setup and operate the instrument independently regardless of their previous flow cytometry and cell sorting experience. — Different chip nozzle sizes are available- 70um, 100um and 130um with automatic sort settings for each type to enable sorting of various types of cells. — SH800 features sorting into tubes and various types of plates, including 384 well plates. This supports the Single cell sorting for single cell RNA sequencing and includes Index sorting function. The novel fluidics design allows the exchange of the chip and also the sample line, allowing users to easily exchange all the parts that are in contact with samples. This allows users to sort various types of samples (for example: cell line-bacteria-cell line). Sony has number of key patents within the technology including: — Patent number (Japan): 4661942 Date: 14.1.2011. Microchip flow cytometry for which channel is isotropically reduced — Patent number (US): US8350231 Date: 8.1.2013. Optical measurement apparatus, flow meter and optical Site measurement. The SH800 Cell Sorter will enable all researchers to sort independently regardless of their previous flow cytometry expertise. 2017-10-05 Sony Europe Limited Surrey 1499904.00 Klagenævnet for udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 København Ø 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, Valby København 2500 +45 41715000 kfst@kfst.dk http://www.kfst.dk 2017-10-10
