Planning and design contest with a pre-qualification for Furuset Hageby Nursing Home in village form for persons with cognitive decline who require care.

The aim of the contest is to get the best ideas and solution proposals based on evaluation criteria for the juryen, as stated in the tender documentation Part III. The planning and design contest shall be a contribution to Oslo municipality's work in developing a ‘village’ for persons with cognitive decline who require care in Furuset in Oslo-Furuset hageby, within Oslo municipality's model area in Future Built-Furuset.

The 3 best qualified tenderers will be invited to participate in the contest for submitting a concrete solution proposal.

The jury shall select 1 winner. We intend to enter into a service contract, further engineering design assignments, with the winner of the contest for continuing the project work with the ‘village’.

Besides selecting a winner, the jury shall also rank the other teams into second and third place.

The assignment is ordered by Oslo Sykehjemsetat (SYE), who shall also be the user of the concept. The assignment is a Future built project.
