The background for this procurement is that the government has decided to allocate money to the design and construction of a new coastal research vessel in the national budget for 2017.
The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research has the task of initiating and executing the procurement of design, construction, building, equipping, testing and delivering of a new coastal research vessel. During 2017 the Contracting Authority wants to sign a ship building contract for design, construction, building, equipping, testing and delivery of a new coastal research vessel.
