Drammensbadet is a municipal company in Drammen municipality. Drammensbadet is one of Norway's largest waterparks and it has been open since 1 September 2008. The waterpark has 355 000 visitors every year, approx. 1 000 per day. Drammensbadet is in Marienlyst, its nearest neighbours are a sixth form college, Drammenshallen, Drammen Museum and Gamle gress. It is 200 m to the railway and bus station and a short way to the town centre with shops, restaurants and hotels. Drammensbadet is approx. 12 000 m² and has a total of 5 300 000 litres of water in its 9 pools. We have a large outdoor area with lawns, sunbeds, benches and a barbeque area for lovely summer days. Fun water slides both inside and outside. Drammensbadet currently has some outdated systems and challenges as some of the systems cannot ‘talk’ to each other. This includes, amongst other things, the access/ticket system, cash desk system, member system and various reports and statistics that must be produced in the daily running of the waterpark. A thorough review has been carried out, based on observation and interviews with employees and users of the waterpark. This has mapped the challenges and needs for both groups. We have chosen to focus on a description of the need instead of a technical description of systems in order to open up for new, innovative systems. Attention is drawn to the fact that the review work has tried to create a general picture of the current situation, challenges and needs. Some elements in the review will not necessarily be procured, e.g. an ordering system for supplies. This will be clarified with the supplier during the process. Drammensbadet is now arranging a dialogue conference for the procurement of new seamless digital systems. If you are a supplier or a founder with a good idea, we would like you to participate and give input on good, future orientated systems that will benefit Drammenbadet's users and employees.
