Bergen municipality, c/o the Department for Buildings and properties is planning the construction of research rooms for approx. 10 schools in the municipality during the next 4 years. The decision on which schools shall get the research rooms, or on how the research rooms shall be designed and furnished, has not yet been made. Bergen municipality shall enter into a framework agreement where furniture and fixtures and furnishing for the research rooms shall be bought. The average value of purchase for furniture and fixtures is estimated to 200 000 NOK for each research room.
Bergen municipality has in the previous years constructed several research rooms and therefore holds an overview of the type of furniture and fixtures requested purchased. Most of the research rooms have the same elements in the furnishing, but since each room is different and the furnishing must be adapted to the room, the type of furnishing and how much furnishing that shall be purchased will vary.
