Post Norway AS, Division Logistics, intend to procure Data Capture Equipment for Parcels at several locations in Norway. Expected total quantity 20 – 28 in total over a period of time approximately five years. Some of the equipment will be specified as an option. The equipment consists of two types of DWS (Dimensioning-Weighing-Scanning) systems for parcels. Type DWS-A performs dynamic data capture for parcels that are machineable parcels and DWS-E performs dynamic or static data capture for non-machineable parcels. By machineable it is meant that it is possible to sort the parcels on a parcel sorting machine. DWS-A shall be prepared for a subsequent sorting system controlled by i.e. PLC. Detailed description will be given in the tender documents.
