An inverted confocal laser scanning microscope LSM 880 with Airyscan detector hardware. Plus Incubator for live cell imaging. The equipment will be used for direct visualization and understanding of biofilms on explanted implants, and live cell imaging of inflammatory cells interacting with bacteria.
