The contracting authority would like tenders for engineering design services for a bridge construction on floating foundations over Bjørnafjorden.
The aim of the contract is to further develop a concept for crossing Bjørnafjord in connection with the review work related to a ferry free E39 between Aksdal and Bergen under the management of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration Western Region.
The contracting authority would like to assess a concept with a combined floating and suspension bridge system and establish a calculation model in RM Bridge The tower foundations consist of TLP(«Tension Leg Platform»), which are tension leg platform floating pontoons, in great water depths, and fixed ground in lessor depths.
