The hospitals in the South East Health Region shall buy equipment to perform TB-IGRA testing according to indication, recommended by the NIPH (The Norwegian Institute of Public Health).
That is, as a supplement to the tuberculin skin test to detect possible latent mycobacterium tuberculosis complex infection.
This test must be taken using special vials.
