NRK shall enter into a framework agreement for gardening works for NRK Marienlyst. It is very important for the contracting authority that there are well maintained green areas at Marienlyst. The service provider shall have a dedicated professional site gardener as the assignment manager. During the season, which stretches from May up to and including August, the dedicated professional site gardener shall be based permanently at Marienlyst. This person shall be based at the site Monday to Friday 7 - 15 and shall cooperate closely with the contracting authority.
A framework agreement shall be signed with one service provider for 1 year with an option for a further 1 + 1 + 1 year.
The framework agreement involves, amongst other things, maintenance of lawns (approx. 18-20,000 m2), annual planting of summer flowers (approx. 4,000) and bulbs (approx. 4,000), care of roses, bushes and trees, delivery of Christmas trees for Christmas (approx. 15 trees in different sizes).
The site is frequented by passersby, residents in the local area, NRK's visitors and employees and it is therefore very important that the site always appears as representative. This means, amongst other things, that rubbish shall not be left lying around. The contracting authority shall be immediately informed of any need for extra measures.
The turnover for the entire project (all works) is expected to be approx. NOK 500,000-800,000 excluding VAT per annum. The commissioning of the contract is subject to resources within the granted budget. Further details and delivery requirements are in Part B and the accompanying annexes.
