Rheometer for FAI

Farmasøytisk institutt, UiO ('the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo') shall procure a rheometer that must give options for measuring the viscosities in a wide range of different samples such as complex liquids and mixtures, as well as for the module for gels. We work with samples of small volumes and low concentrations with low viscosity as dispersions of liposomes, and as such require high sensitivity in the measurements. We are therefore looking for an instrument that provides reproducible data even in the low-speed range. We also want to include a SALS module since the light scattering properties under shear forces can consequently be explored.
