UiO will carry out a complete renovation of the Geological Museum, called Brøggers hus, in the botanical gardens in Tøyen. This involves the installation of modern technical installations, including safety measures, adapting infrastructure for modern exhibitions, installing a new goods lift, establishing new stairs, upgrading fire safety as well as historical restoration in listed zones. Parts of the building are listed. All of the building is affected by the renovation.
