The Commission Regulation (EU) No. 139/2014 ADR.OPS.B020 requires that Avinor has ornithological competence within bird and game control. Further details are given in the Civil Aviation Authority's circular letter AIC-N07/16, which include concrete competence requirements.
Avinor AS' framework agreement expires at the end of this year and we need a new framework agreement for the procurement of ornithological services. We are publishing this prior information notice so that interested parties can contact us in order to discuss their services and what the market can offer.
Information on the wanted delivery:
The bird and game control shall be connected to one or several ornithologists with competence in measures for preventing conflicts between aircraft and birds and animals and it shall provide assistance with identifying birds, primarily connected to bird strikes. The ornithologists will function as advisor(s) for the bird and game control.
