The Agency for Real Estate and Urban Renewal (EBY), shall now begin to secure the previous landfill at Langøyene and facilitate for recreation and bathing for Oslo’s growing population. The project is planned to be carried out as a turnkey contract starting in autumn 2018 and being completed in summer 2020. The project involves i.a. covering of landfill surfaces on land and at sea and it is anticipated that there is a need for approx. 250 000 cubic metres of matter to be transported from Langøyene. In relation to the preparation of the tender documents, EBY wants discussions with the supplier market in order to gain input to how we can best achieve CO2 reduction throughout the procurement. The procurement is planned for publication in February/March 2018. Refer to the attached project description.
