Københavns Universitet Nørregade 10 København K 1017 Caroline Volf +45 35333391 caroline.volf@adm.ku.dk www.oko.ku.dk University Acquisition of a Ti:Sa Tuneable Laser System to Quantum, The Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. 043-0295-17-7000 The Niels Bohr Institute is the Department of Physics of the University of Copenhagen. The Quantum Optics Laboratory is part of the Quantum Optics and Ultracold Atoms section of the Institute. The contract is for the manufacture, delivery and installation of an ultra-narrow linewidth continuous-wave Ti: Sapphire Laser to be used as part of an ongoing experiment exploring quantum states of mechanical objects. 114000.00 M Squared is an award-winning developer of photonic and quantum technologies. They design and manufacture advanced photonics tools for use in science, industry and education. Their lasers have enabled breakthroughs in quantum technology, biophotonics and chemical sensing and have been used by sectors as diverse as aerospace, defence, oil and gas, healthcare, food and drink. According to the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2014/24/ EC, Article 32. 2, point b, the University of Copenhagen believes that M Squared Lasers’ SolsTiS has the highest specification and flexibility of all available CW TiS lasers and is the only system that offers fully sealed and automated, hands free operation over the wavelength region.M Squared SolsTiS is the quietest commercial Ti: Sa laser available, delivering narrow linewidths when locked and unlocked.Absolute external (not relative) linewidth <50kHz with reference cavity option and free running (PSX model) absolute linewidth <100kHz over 100us is required.Limiting environmental perturbations is critical. The SolsTiS laser head is hermetically sealed with volume <1 litre and purge ports. This enables fast purging in minutes, avoiding atmospheric perturbations or absorptions in Ti: Sapphire range. The sealed environment allows one to connect modular desiccant cartridges to reduce water absorption of the laser field within the enclosure. The SolsTiS is the only Ti: Sa unit to offer a hermetically sealed cavity with this simple, elegant solution. Furthermore, the vacuum grade stainless steel of the SolsTiS and it's no painted or anodised parts helps prevent contamination and degradation over long operating cycles. The SolsTiS is the only Ti: Sa to offer fixed, low drift optics which require no manual adjustment. The SolsTiS is the only Ti: Sa with TCP/IP control. SolsTiS has the lowest amplitude noise of any Ti: Sa available on the market with a specification of <0.1 % AMS, typically ~0.02 %. 2017-12-05 M Squared Lasers Ltd Venture Building, West of Scotland Science Park Glasgow G20 0SP +44 1419450500 sales@m2lasers.com +44 1419450500 www.m2lasers.com 114000.00 Klagenævnet for Udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 København Ø 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk A complaint against the contracting entity who, in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2014/24/EC, Article 32, has decided to award a contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union must, in accordance with the Danish act on enforcement of procurement rules, etc. § 7, para. 3, be filed to the Danish Public procurement Appeal Board within 30 calendar days from the day following the day on which a contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
