The old scanner cannot be maintained anymore. Our section has used MRI-scanning for postmortem imaging and diagnostics, and will need a new scanner. The new scanner has a higher resolution and spectrometric capabilities. Postmortem imaging is also seen as an important adjunct to case documentation. Service is expected to be 10 years +. At a total gantry length of 147 cm this MRI-scanner offers the smallest available footprint for any 1.5T magnet with zero helium boil-off technology. The derived minimum examination room requirement of <19 sqm is also the smallest available and mandatory for installation at the current MR facility/Faraday cage. In addition the need for less cabinets (2) makes this MRI scanner the only scanner to fit the current equipment room. A larger MRI-scanner and hence a larger room would entail considerable extra costs and is furthermore not possible at the existing premises. The user interface of this MRI-scanner, which is mandatory for optimal use of the image fusion options, is furthermore identical to that of the CT scanner already in use at the facility. This allows for optimal workflows incorporating the 2 modalities. 2016-12-08 Siemens A/S Ballerup 5700000.00 Klagenævnet for udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 København Ø 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk A complaint against the contracting entity who, in accordance with the Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, Article 32, has decided to award a contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union must,in accordance with the Danish act on enforcement of procurement rules, etc. § 7, para. 3, be filed to the Danish Public procurement Appeal Board within 30 calendar days from the day following the day on which a contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
