Våler municipality, hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to enter into a contract for emptying sludge, including transport, with 1 service provider and therefore invites tenderers to an open tender contest.

The assignment will mainly consist of emptying private interceptors for sludge in addition to emptying interceptors for sludge at the municipality's treatment facilities and pump stations. All the sludge shall be transported and delivered to the municipality's separate sludge lagoons at Haslemoen. The contract period is 2 years with an option for the Contracting Authority to extend the contract for 1+1 year.

The total value of the contract is estimated to approx. 5 000 000 NOK excluding VAT in the coming 4 year period. The value is based on historical figures and is for the entire period including the option (four years).

There are approx. 1 050 sewage installations over an area of scattered development in addition to 2 treatment facilities in the municipality.
