Jernbaneverket is currently implementing surveillance of ‘all kind’ of railroad assets. This includes all kind of railway realted equipment, from switches/point-machines to IT and telecom systems. Some of the assets report status inherently, other assets will be equipped with sensors reporting measurements. The total number of assets will be hundreds of thousands, possibly up to a million during the next 10 years. These assets and their sensors will report messages, measurement values, pictures, video and other information.
To handle this stream of information — including storage, correlation, alarms and reporting/presentation — Jernbaneverket will need a solution which automatically analyses data in short-term and long-term (presenting urgent alarms or long-term trends and recommendations about maintenance and replacement). The collected information shall be combined/correlated with external information, i.e. weather (present and forecasts).
Through a dialog conference, Jernbaneverket wishes to challenge the market to analyze our needs to present/find innovative solutions. These solutions shall combine and analyze data from different assets and sensors to aim the main objective: All trains shall arrive their destinations, safely and on schedule.
The venue for the dialog conference will be Oslo, Norway on 30.5.2016 at 9:00. The conferance will be initiated by a short project presentation given by Jernbaneverket. Suppliers may then upon prior request (given as part of the participation request) participate in a short one-to-one dialog meeting/ (20 minutes) afterwards. One to one meetings may also be held at May 31st. During the dialog meeting the Supplier is asked to present their solution.
The presentations will beheld in English language. The dialog meetings may be conducted in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English language.
