General information on the project.
The new Inter City development shall establish a modern double track railway from Oslo to Halden, firstly to Fredrikstad.
The Østfold railway is currently double track from Oslo to Moss South, Sandbukta. Between Sandbukta and Såstad there is only a single track.
A new double track shall be constructed here, as well as a new Moss station. A new double track shall be constructed on the stretch going south.
Haug-Seut, Seut-Sarpsborg including new stations at Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg.
Furthermore, double track shall be constructed between Sarpsborg and Halden.
This procurement is a framework agreement for the execution of ground surveys for the further planning of the Inter City development from Sandbukta to Halden.
Further development, including fillings and cuttings in the terrain, landscape forming, bridges and tunnels. In order to see to the geotechnical engineering design; foundations for constructions, plan the necessary stabilisation measures and be able to document stability along the route, there is a need to carry out ground surveys on the stretch.
Parts of the stretch have been previously surveyed but require supplements, along other sub stretches few surveys have been carried out so far.
