We would purchase a TSE PhenoMaster System for continuous oxygen consumption measurement coupled to remote body temperature assessment. We study how the body's clock (i.e. circadian rhythm) controls energy expenditure in brown adipose tissue. As a consequence, we need equipment that allows us to control parameters of light and temperature in order to study the effects on murine metabolism in our genetic models and control littermates.
