University of Copenhagen is planning to invest in roller compactor technique (dry granulation). The size of this equipment is for lab-scale research purposes.
We have more than 30 years of world-leading experience with wet granulation techniques and we would like to expand our experimental possibilities towards dry granulation. The equipment will be used both for basic teaching purposes (MSc pharm students), as well as research purposes (PhD students and industrial service projects).
We are representing Department of Pharmacy having responsibility of performing teaching and research related to formulation development and manufacturing of solid dosage forms (e.g. tablets, capsules). We are also in close contact with Danish and other European pharmaceutical companies.
We are educating every year 200 M.Sc. (pharm.) students who are mainly (60%) hired to the pharmaceutical industry. That means that we have quite unique, industrially very relevant, teaching and research profile.
