The assignment includes the operation and maintenance tasks connected with electrical systems with functional responsibility for some of the tasks on and along national and county roads includingpedestrian/cycle paths in Tjeldsund, Harstad, Skånland, Evenes, Gratangen, Ibestad, Lavangen, Narvik, Ballangen, parts of Salangen, parts of Bardu, parts of Lødingen, parts of Kvæfjord and parts of Tysfjord municipalities in accordance with the list of objects specified in ChapterD2-V.The geographical area that the contract covers is shown in the map in ChapterD2-S1.

The work will be done for a round sum for round sum processes, in accordance withamounts and unit prices for unit prices processes and as cost-plus work in accordance withhourly rates for the workers and machinery.

The contract is valid between 1.9.2014 to 31.8.2019 for all the tasks that have been described.

The builder has the option of extending the contract by 12 months, from 1.9.2019 to 31.8.2020.

The most important systems and installations that are covered by the assignment consist, among others, of:

Number of tunnels with electrical systems 16;

Number of traffic signal systems 15;

Number of weather stations 7;

Number of speed cameras 2;

Number of variable signs 6;

Number of bridges with electrical systems 9;

Number of road lights Approximately 2,900;

Number of traffic control and monitoring systems 4;

Number of ferry piers 11.

The assignment includes routine inspection, examination, function testing and internal controls as well as periodic work, repair of damages, removal/replacement/installation of objects and other measures.The assignment also includes inspection and registration, planning for the company, emergency preparedness, documentation, reporting to the builder and dealing with other necessary tasks.
