See VII.2.1) Description of the modifications below. 36 10033470.00 Coffey International Development Ltd The Malthouse 1, Northfield Road, Berkshire Reading RG1 8AH The contract has previously been amended twice through addendum 1 signed 3.7.2015 (adding 625 853 DKK) and addendum 2 signed 16.3.2016 (adding 2 556 682 DKK and expanding scope to cater for the Danish exit from Zimbabwe). There have since been challenges and delays in completing the construction of courts, and site inspections have revealed a critical lack of understanding of how to use and maintain the new buildings. The purpose of amendment No 3 is thus to allow the Justice Advisor and the Infrastructure Advisor to: — Revisit court sites to quality assure their completion and to monitor progress in addressing snags that are preventing court completion. — Continue to provide technical assistance for the JSC, including guiding court magistrates on how to use and maintain their courts. — Develop a User and Maintenance Handbook to be distributed to magistrates. The amendment will provide the advisers with 26 additional days through a reallocation of 138 086 DKK within the existing. O The creation of a User and Maintenance Handbook was not originally a key deliverable for the handover of court buildings to the JSC. However, as the JSC has demonstrated an unforeseen low capacity to successfully manage and use the courts, the development of a User and Maintenance Handbook to guide the JSC's use of the courts has been deemed essential for the legacy of the programme. In addition to the Unit's creation of this document, it is essential that the JSC take ownership of this handbook.
