Harstad Municipality needs to procure a new patient journal system.
The core functionality of the patient journal system (electronic patient journal/EPJ) is to meet the requirements concerning documentation of health help. In addition there is a need to solve challenges related to prioritising health help, logistics, administration, payment systems, reports, and communication with the patient throughout the entire treatment of the patient.
The goal is that the system contributes to good professional quality, good patient safety, good cooperation on and with patients, fulfilment of requirements for information security and personal protection, good user experiences for employees, as well as giving patients the best possible experience when they contact the municipality's health services.
