The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Norwegian: Bufdir) has been commissioned by the Ministry of Culture to increase the municipalities' use of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The objective of the contract is to increase the implementation of CRPD in Norwegian municipalities.
The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Norwegian: Bufdir) wants assistance in developing good and creative tools that can create awareness and make visible the benefits and significance of the Convention among the target groups and in the society in general, and which platforms and channels it may be appropriate to involve.
The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Norwegian: Bufdir) also wants to continue working with concepts and measures that has been created and proposed internally in 2020. This includes basic presentation, checklists and manual. The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs also wants to assess the need for e-learning and CRPD certification of municipalities with a CRPD stamp.
